The Design Squid is a design consulting and production service, located in State College PA, with expertise in developing graphics, branding, photography, fine art and more. The Design Squid strives to provide for entrepreneurs and companies with a shared vision; To design an innovative, sustainable community and business culture that looks and functions beautifully.

ECO360 TRUST

ECO360 TRUST is an experiential learning and outreach program designed to support the mission of the Institute for Sustainable Communication (ISC). ISC’s mission is to raise awareness, build capacity and foster the widespread adoption of sustainability in communication media. However, sustainability is a complex topic, especially for young people. We created ECO360 TRUST to help college students put sustainability principles into practice and learn through experience.

Eco Pilots

Eco Pilots is a sustainability consulting firm based in Karlskrona, Sweden and has expertise on sustainability strategy and sustainable transportation planning. Founded by New Leaf Ally member, Sven Borén, Eco Pilots desires to guide companies and organizations towards a sustainable future through education, the creation of strategic goals and measures by using backcasting from a tailor-made sustainability vision, and project management to reach satisfaction in sustainability projects.

Engaging Action

Shifting towards sustainability in environmental, social and economic systems is an urgent concern for society today. We are a research and consulting team focused on the behavioural component of the solution and how strategic planning for complex systems can co-create engaging stakeholder-driven campaigns that motivate real action. Our research and work focuses on a systems perspective to examine how individuals and groups interact with communicated messages as part of the adoption process of a behaviour.

Four Years. Go.

A campaign to change the course of history. The goal of Four Years. Go. is to build a global movement of commitment and action that will cause a positive tipping point in humanity’s future by the end of 2014, setting us irreversibly on a new path to a just, thriving and sustainable future for all. This will be done through inspiring commitment, connecting individuals and organizations in action, and amplifying stories of hope and success.

GrassRoots United

GrassRoots United is an international disaster response and relief organization. Started by disaster relief aid workers, GrassRoots takes a different approach to disaster relief, focused on making the absolute most of all the aid coming into Haiti. We collaborate with Haitians, Haitian organizations, large international NGOs, and small start-ups to help improve the lives of disaster victims. GrassRoots United took form in Haiti, and soon will be responding to disasters wherever they occur.

The Interconnectedness of Things

tIoT specializes in strategic planning for sustainability, innovation, project management, communications design and delivery, group process facilitation, and learning design. Drawing from each of these areas, we lead organizations and groups to enact positive change toward a sustainable future. We’ve worked in Canada, Sweden and the Netherlands to deliver workshops, lectures, short courses and sustainability planning processes for a wide variety of organizations.

Loop Strategies

Loop Strategies works with organizations to develop strategic sustainability goals and then accomplish them through innovative partnerships and business models. Our goal is to find connections between local businesses and services that can build resilience and community trust while managing waste and resource use more sustainably.

PeaceBuilding Global

Seeking solutions through imagination and creativity, PeaceBuilding Global is a big picture thinker who base our actions and recommendations on restorative practices. We have more than 20 years experience in Africa and Asia facilitating strategic peacebuilding and development from a partner and relational orientation through field assignments, leadership postings and regional levels portfolios.
